I was born in Luxembourg, a tiny country somewhere between Belgium, France and Germany. We actually have our own language, spoken by hardly 300 000 people and pretty useless once you cross the borders. That’s why we’re alphabetized in German and learn French at the age of 7. Of course we’re also fluent in English by the time we leave high school. Since English isn’t my mother tongue, I hope you won’t be too hard on me – I might say weird things sometimes lol.
Here’s how we say ‘I love you’:
Ech hunn dech gär
