This recipe is, in my opinion, a great example for how you can create something completely new with well-known and often-used ingredients. When you look at the ingredient list, it doesn’t contain anything special at first glance. But I bet you’ve never eaten anything like this tasty and refreshing almond bulgur before!
- 30 g almonds
- 150 g bulgur
- 30 g raisins
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Ras el -Hanout or Harissa
- a handful of chopped coriander
Roast the almonds in a heated pan, let them cool off and chop them.
Cook the bulgur with some salt in 300ml of hot water. 2 minutes before it's done cooking, add raisins.
Add almonds and coriander.
